"Today's free lesson is on testimonials!"

Today I want to teach you about the power of testimonials.

Most mortgage brokers never bother to get any. They could do so, simply and easily, they just don't.

I think the number one reason why they don't, is because they don't realize that in direct mail tests, testimonials DOUBLE the response rate of the piece mailed.

If you don't have testimonials, you're simply p!$$!ng in the wind, and throwing money away.

There are many ways to use them...

1. Put your past borrower testimonials on a free recorded message hotline.

2. Put them online, preferably in video format, for prospective borrowers to view.

3. If not video online, then do audio.

4. If not audio online, then print.

5. If print online, you gotta have a photo of the borrower, a signature, and a bunch of DETAILS for the testimonial to be BELIEVABLE.

Oh, here's another way to use a testimonial. I have a Member in Maryland, Tucker MasterMind Member Kevin Marks, who found himself hospitalized for the entire month of August 2007. Yup, right in the middle of the mess.

Kevin told me in September that he'd been laid-up in the hospital all of August, but STILL did $48,000.00 in fees using my stuff!

So, I turned his "testimonial" into a "tear sheet," and mailed it to 10,000 broker shops in geographical Areas that I didn't then have a Member in.

You'll notice that since Kevin didn't get a photo of himself in the hospital bed, I had to use a "stock photo" of a guy in a hospital bed. But trust me, this is for friggin' real!

The names I mailed were "cold" (compiled) names, meaning I'd rented them from Info USA. These were NOT "opt-ins" from Mortgage Marketing Genius.

This put TONS of new peeps on my "opt-in" list, and I got new Members from it too!

Besides that, it further rubbed it in the faces of the nay-sayers, that say that my stuff "doesn't work." And I just love proving the player haters wrong. :0)

On top of that, Dan Kennedy loved the thing so much, that he just ran it in the March No B.S. Marketing Letter, getting me even MORE (free) opt-ins.

Anywho, I think Kevin's story is amazingly powerful. And apparently, so many others in "the bidness" do too.

What we're gonna talk about, is the concept that your marketing can be "gravitational," with borrowers "attracted" to you, just like marbles dropped into a funnel.

Most mortgage marketing is "chase" marketing. And that's simply not effective.

You want them chasing you, not the other way around. And there ARE affordable & effective ways to accomplish this.
